Movies that need a physical media upgrade or release Part 1

PUMPKINHEAD (On Blu-Ray and 4K in the UK)

Recently released in the U.S by Scream Factory on 4K UHD which is a fantastic release. The issue is PUMPKINHEAD has never had a HD release in the UK on physical, just DVD so far, which for a horror heads is criminal. The good news is the film was recently released in the UK on digital courtesy of Second Sight film. No guessing which label will be releasing the physical edition on 4K and Blu-ray.

DAY OF THE DEAD (1985) (On Blu-Ray in the UK and 4K in general)

It would be fitting if this epic zombie classic was released by Second Sight. In a Deluxe box set similar to their 2020 DAWN OF THE DEAD boxset.

BRAINDEAD (DEAD ALIVE) (ON Blu-Ray and 4K for all regions)

Arrow, we want it, we need it, therefore you know what to do.

BLACK SUNDAY (On 4K for all regions)

Can we please get Mario Bava’s eerie black and white spooky masterpiece on the 4K format. Arrow Video’s BLOOD AND BLACK LACE was an exquisite release from September 2023.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Complete Boxset (ON 4K for all regions)

2024 is the perfect year for Elm Street fans to have what would be a holy grail release. Especially due to the fact that that this year is the 40th anniversary for the original classic. We want the whole franchise in an awesome looking boxset from a boutique label. Ideally Arrow or Scream Factory.

Theres a few on the Wishlist for now. I’ll writing up a part 2 soon so keep your eyes peeled. This is going to be a series of articles incase you couldn’t guess.
