CREEP (2014) Limited Edition Blu-Ray Second Sight Films

If you haven’t seen Creep before this new edition from Second Sight has got you covered. You are in for a treat as this is the perfect presentation of the found footage movie. With all the whistles and bells a collector could ask for. There’s a standard edition available too. Options, options and more options that’s what us collectors like. Mark Duplass puts in an unhinged nutty performance as man child whack job, Joseph. There’s moments of creepiness and hilarity. The film has an appropriate balance.

Aaron takes onboard a job he found on an ad. Asking for a camera man to film for a dying man wanting to record a message for his unborn child. Soon enough Aaron comes to the realisation that Joseph (the dying man) is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

There’s an abundance of hilarious moments in creep. The bathtub scene, the hike in the woods and of course Joseph’s special pal Peach fuzz. The Blu-ray transfer is a step up from Netflix and there’s plenty of special features. Audio commentaries and interviews. The hard bound set includes a seventy page perfect bound book stacked with essays. And the six art cards look very nice indeed.

If you want stream Creep before you buy it’s now streaming on Netflix. There’s also the new series “The Creep tapes” On Shudder. Which is simply great featuring Mark Duplass as our lovable hero once again, with a different victim each episode.
