FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009) 4K Arrow Video

Remember the mid to late 2000’s where there was an abundance of horror movie remakes? Arrow video this week released the 4K UHD limited edition set for Friday the 13th from 2009. This is a release for the U.S market so if you’re outside of there you will have to import this shiny new release. It’s a two disk set. Disk one is the theatrical cut on 4K, disk two is the Killer cut also on 4K the later is extended and has 4-5 minutes of extra footage. I can remember this one from the early days of Blu-Ray I enjoyed it back than upon it’s initial release and I can safely say that this new release is top notch as far as packaging goes and the accompanying supplements. The new artwork is one of the best I have seen on any physical media release so far this year.

The 4K transfer looks darn good perhaps not the biggest leap from a previous release you can I acquire. The film is 15 years old and made during more modern times as opposed to a lot of decades old movies on 4K.
