Movies that need a physical media upgrade or release Part 2

ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA (4K and new Blu-RAY for all regions)

It’s been a while since Sergio Leone’s gangster epic had a good release in most regions. There was a blu-Ray released in the UK which to my knowledge is out of print. Now is the time for a 4K. I am sure it will get a 4K disk however I am somewhat sceptical as it’s a 20TH Century Fox title and Disney who own them are tight with with the releases they put out.

INFERNO 1980 (4K release for all regions)

Dario Argento’s second instalment in the three movies trilogy would shine on 4K. The film’s colour pallet would blow our minds in 4K. Arrow Video were releasing a plethora of Argento’s classics in UHD, unfortunately they seemed to have veered away from his catalogue recently.

FRIGHT NIGHT Part 2 1988 (4K and Blu-Ray release from a boutique label for Region A & B)

I have a very competent Blu-ray Spanish bootleg which looks fantastic I must say. Still FRIGHT NIGHT fans are in need of this sequel officially, it is one in particular I would love to see get an amazing release.

THE STEPFATHER (Debut release on Blu-ray & 4K for region B and a new Blu-ray and debuting 4K for the region A market)

Terry Quinn is the stepdad from hell and of your nightmares. I have a feeling based of some previous releases that Second Sight films may have this up their sleeve. THE HITCHER 4K is on the way therefore this would be a perfect release of a movie from the same sort of era.

THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2003 remake (4K for all regions)

I think it’s one of the best remakes out there and I do own a Blu-ray copy thankfully. A label such as Scream Factory would do a wonderful 4K release for this horror remake and I would love to see it.
